We at Meditative Beats love to meditate! It’s the reason this site was created. There are so many benefits to meditation

With the constant stress in our daily lives, it’s more important than ever to stop and take a moment for ourselves every day.

Stress poses a risk to our well being and can contribute to so many serious health issues that we can no longer consider taking time for ourselves a luxury, but instead we must think of this as a necessity.

So why aren’t you meditating?  We realize that so many people don’t meditate because they don’t know how.  Or, they think that meditation is just sitting with your legs crossed on the floor in the stereo-typical yoga pose

There are so many different ways to meditate.  There is no  right or wrong way.  You just have to find what’s right for you and what fits into your daily schedule. If you like the thought of sitting quietly to relax and reflect, then any one of our binaural beats or isochronic recordings with music or with ambient sounds can help you achieve that relaxed state.  If you want to completely tune out and relax, try one of our guided meditations where you can take a journey in your mind.  When you follow along with the guide you can push all that worry and stress to the side.

Do you have a need to completely stop thinking about everything?

Moving meditations such as yoga, qi gong, and tai chi are excellent ways of blanking your mind to nothing but your movements and breath. Moving meditations can even be as simple as moving your hands and arms as you sit.  Breathing with the movement of your hands and arms, coupled with soothing music is an effective way to block out that crazy monkey mind.

Stress an also be about how you feel about yourself.

When you lack confidence in yourself and you believe that you are not worthy of having the best life you can possibly have, you become stressed, anxious, and full of negativity toward yourself and others.
